Day to Day duties as an Accounts Assistant will include the following:

  • Input purchase invoices into Sage accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile the purchase ledger monthly to statements.
  • Manage supplier payments efficiently and effectively.
  • Reconcile sales accounts and issue monthly statements.
  • Take charge of credit control, including credit applications and debtor follow-ups.
  • Post daily bank receipts and payments with precision.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts.
  • Post receipts from Stripe and PayPal and carry out monthly reconciliations.
  • Accurately post and reconcile credit card statements.

As an Accounts Assistant you will need the following qualities & experience:

  • AAT qualified (or working towards) or qualified by experience
  • Working knowledge of Sage 200 
  • Previous experience working in an Accounts role
