The Transport Administrator will be responsible for organising transport in a timely manner the role is varied and will also include administrative tasks regarding the order process workflow, along with allocating orders, managing customer refusals, processing the return of pallets and liaising with internal stakeholders and customers.
Day to Day duties as a Transport Administrator will include the following:
- You will manage the deliveries in the UK and organise transport in line with customer requirements and sourcing the best transport cost.
- You will also be responsible for managing transport pricing, identifying bill and invoice anomalies and utilising their in-house system to organise collection of pallets.
As a Transport Administrator, you will need the following qualities & experience:
- Great attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced role
- Administration / Customer Service experience
- Computer Literate - CRM working experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
- 3 or more A levels or equivalent or an apprenticeship in logistics/customer service
