IT Software Support Engineer
Location Bidford-on-Avon Salary is dependent on experience, Full time Permanent
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Python Software. If you have self-taught or have a good understanding of software such has Python, C+ SQL then this role would be ideal. If you also have an interest in cars and motorsport even better.
As an IT Software Support Engineer, you will be joining a small team, who design develop and test software to enhance the functionality of the automotive sector. The role will allow you to learn how to diagnose and fix software faults. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in commercial applications development within the automotive business,
The day to day duties of an IT Software Support Engineer role would include;
- Dealing with telephone calls and emails with excellent customer services
- Custom file writing
- Dealer support and training
- Training material development
- Database maintenance
- File key reporting and management
- Dyno testing and product research
- Support Workshop activities and dyno testing.

The Successful Applicant
To be considered for our IT Software Support Engineer role you will need to have;
- Strong communication skills, telephone, written and presentation
- Custom File ECU writing experience across several marques is important but not essential
- Experience of using MS office packages
- Telephone handlings skills/experience
- Sales and customer care skills/experience
- Training knowledge and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Great time management and ability to prioritise workload.
- An interest in cars would be a great advantage
- Have a strong background in Python or another coding language
