Site Manager • Midlands • Salary £40,000 per annum • Permanent

We are working exclusively with a growing and highly reputable facilities management contractor who are a genuinely fantastic company to work for, look after their staff well and have established and stable contracts nationwide.

Due to expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to cover the Midlands. This role will be working within the projects team overseeing a multi trade projects. This will be working on various police frameworks across the Midlands region.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for our Regional Contract Manager role;

  • Good Knowledge of building and construction
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills
  • Business management skills
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
  • Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the public
  • Supervising construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Procuring (call off) materials for each phase of the project.
  • Monitoring & reporting on project progress
  • Conducting quality and safety inspections
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Motivating the workforce
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project preferrable
  • Good IT knowledge
  • Working on-site at clients’ businesses or in a site office.
  • Good understanding of Current H&S legislation
  • Hold the following Certification.
    • CSCS Card
    • SMSTS
    • First Aid
    • Asbestos Awareness
    • Pasma
    • Temporary works supervision (beneficial)
  • Clean police record to pass level 2 Police Vetting, role will involve working within live police stations so need to go through their vetting process (Pre-requisite for role)
