Scheduler/Planner • Redditch • Permanent • Full Time • £25,100 per annum

What would the day look like as a Scheduler/Planner?

  • You will be reviewing requests that come in and allocating to the engineers' using the bespoke in-house system.
  • Scheduling engineer visits for breakdowns and planned maintenance visits.
  • You will have the ability to “think outside the box” and to be proactive when scheduling or re-scheduling engineers.
  • This will mean ensuring engineer workloads and routes are both cost and time effective for them and the business.
  • You will also be working closely with the Service Desk Team to ensure client expectations are managed and engineers have access to equipment.
  • This role will need someone who can develop a good relationship and understanding with your engineers.

What does this Scheduler/Planner need to have?

  • Ideally previous scheduling/planning experience
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Be proficient in using MS Office and willing to learn new systems.
  • A personality, you will need to make good relationships with the engineers, a bit of banter is usually necessary.
  • Be passionate about getting results and ensuring all jobs are complete 
  • Able to work under pressure and not crumble when things get a bit hectic.
