Scheduler • Erdington • £19 - £19,500 • Permanent Full Time

As a Scheduler, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • To ensure the most productive use of Field Engineers’ and subcontractors, whilst ensuring that Service Level Agreements are achieved.
  • To ensure that all processes and procedures are adhered to by the engineers
  • To ensure that the call management system accurately reflects the status of calls, and that calls are progressed in accordance with internal procedures
  • To ensure all material / sub contract orders are raised and that systems reflect the status of job during its life and to drive to complete status.

Essential Requirements

  • The person applying for this role must be fully trained as a scheduler/maintenance administrator/helpdesk and be able to hit the ground running.
  • Well-organised and able to follow defined processes.
  • Customer focused with a strong sense of quality and a desire for delivering Service Excellence.
  • Excellent influencing skills able to manage the day-to-day activities of a group of Engineers and clients.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to operate effectively in a pressurised scheduling environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload.
