Studley - Part-time – 5 days per week, 5 hours per day - Up to £16 per hour + holiday pay
About the Role
Arden Personnel are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger / Credit Control Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team in Studley. This is an ongoing contract role, ideal for someone looking for part-time hours with flexibility and a professional environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing the sales ledger, supporting credit control activities, and assisting with some basic treasury tasks. While prior experience in sales ledger and credit control is essential, full training will be provided on internal systems, including Pegasus.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Carry out credit control duties, including chasing outstanding payments and resolving queries
- Process and allocate incoming payments
- Assist with basic treasury functions, such as cash flow monitoring and reconciliations
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and reporting tasks
- Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth financial operations
Skills & Experience Required
- ✔ Previous experience in sales ledger and/or credit control (essential)
- ✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ✔ Confident communicator with excellent telephone and email manner
- ✔ Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently
- ✔ Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- ✔ Willingness to learn new systems – training provided on Pegasus
