Sales Co-ordinator • Leamington Spa • Salary 22-24k per annum • Permanent 

The Sales Coordinator will assist the education Events, Programme Manager, to manage the end-to-end delivery of events and associated products.  By contacting clients to generate bookings and giving associated administrative support.

  • Assist the education Events, Programme Manager, in booking event days via telephone calls.
  • Contact schools as directed, to book free of charge STEM days, arrange delivery of free-of-charge Think Kits and to give away free Student places on the Trust residential courses. 
  • Use of telephone within the role.  This may involve calling schools in order to book the free places/courses or responding to telephone queries as required.
  • Maintain the CRM database to keep a record of calls made and emails sent and update details of confirmed bookings and orders.  Maintain and update the CRM database with details on teachers, schools, students, contacts and companies.
  • Use Outlook calendars to determine available dates for delivery and to allocate event days to the delivery team.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure effective delivery of products for the event days.
  • Working with the Project Development team to produce the paperwork for new projects. 
  • Order, organise and pack the kits and paperwork to be sent out to the deliverers of the events, as required.
  • Process Certificates for Events and process feedback from events in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the Kit room and stock control ensuring there is enough equipment to deliver the events. Purchase additional kit as required.
  • Develop a good knowledge of the department’s activities to deal competently with enquiries.
  • Complete purchase orders, invoices, mailshots, etc, as required and directed
  • Any other administration duties as required
  • Attend external events as required.

To be considered for our Sales Co-ordinator role;

Essential:

  • GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Experience working in a sales target environment
  • Experience working in an outbound sales enviroment
  • Sales-oriented mindset motivated by goals and experience of meeting targets.
  • Experience working in a lead generation, tele sales or customer service capacity.
  • Good command of English Language, both written and spoken with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience in administration
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Experienced Microsoft Office user for professional purposes, especially Word, Outlook and Excel.

Desirable:

  • Experience of databases/CRM – ideally Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR and the safeguarding of data. 
  • An understanding of the UK school and education systems. 
  • An understanding of stock control
