Are you a driven Retail Manager with a passion for team development and commercial growth? We’re working with a respected healthcare organisation looking for an experienced multi-site retail professional to lead and elevate performance across a large network of stores.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on both people and performance—with a regional remit covering 79 branches mainly in Wales and a small amount in the Midlands.
Retail Manager What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering and executing retail strategy that drives OTC (over-the-counter) sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring consistent, high-quality visual merchandising and brand standards across all branches.
- Coaching and developing store teams on product knowledge, customer service, and upselling.
- Using EPOS data to monitor KPIs, analyse performance, and report to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborating with suppliers to secure promotional support and enhance in-store visibility.
- Identifying opportunities for store improvements and coordinating capex projects.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, cleanliness, and operational best practice.
Retail Manager What we're looking for:
- 10+ years’ experience in multi-site retail leadership—ideally in pharmacy, FMCG, or health & beauty.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving retail performance and growth.
- Skilled in using EPOS systems for data-led decision-making.
- Confident trainer and mentor with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work autonomously across a large geographical area.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the region (up to 50% travel).
