Production Operative - Redditch - Full-time - Permanent - Up to £26k
Our Redditch-based client is gearing up for the next phase of expansion and is actively seeking a dedicated Production Operative. The primary responsibility of the role is to produce an exceptional standard of work guaranteeing customers’ requirements are met.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a passion for production and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. A great eye for detail, and a real drive for producing quality work. Someone who is flexible, target driven and a real team player.
Day to day duties and responsibilities for the Production Operative role
- Loading and unloading using the Counterbalance FLT
- Ensure daily work centre output targets are met or exceeded.
- Maintain records, reporting relevant information and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation of the machinery and surrounding work area.
- Reporting of any machine faults/breakdowns to the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager.
- Any other task determined to be in the interests of efficient operation.
What you'll need to succeed in our Production Operative role
- Counterbalance Forklift licence and experience
- Excellent track record of time keeping and attendance.
- A high degree of accuracy with an eye for detail.
- Experience with machine operating
- Excellent communication skills.
- The skill and desire to contribute to Continuous Improvement activities in the area.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with an ability to work to deadlines and targets.
- A flexible and positive individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
