Location: Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire
Salary:£28-30,000 per annum FTE
Hours: Approx. 15 hours per week (ideally back end of the week)
A small, friendly accountancy practice is looking for someone who enjoys bookkeeping support — with some admin included. The payroll element is straightforward: it’s monthly payroll for around 80 employees, and these are fixed payrolls, meaning it’s not heavy data entry — more a case of processing, checking, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
The Role:
- Supporting monthly payroll processing (c. 80 fixed payrolls)
- Running payroll and completing checks, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
- Handling payroll documentation and basic queries (payslips, standard requests, etc.)
- General bookkeeping support: posting transactions, bank reconciliations, keeping records tidy
- Assisting with practice administration as required (the “helping hands” bits that keep things flowing)
What They’re Looking For:
- Someone with bookkeeping/payroll exposure who is comfortable working with figures
- Confident, organised, and able to manage routine monthly deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Happy to support with some admin, but bookkeeping mindset is key
- Familiarity with payroll/accounting software is a huge advantage
