Machine Operative
Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon Permanent Salary£18,720-£19,760 Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00
Due to growth our client based in Long Marston is looking for a hard-working individual to join this fast-developing company, who specialise within the metal and recycling industry.
Day to day duties for our Machine Operative role:
- To operate the machine, shredding metal into a finer substance to then be exported off to the next stage of purification.
- You will also be expected to assist the team in other duties around the site as well as operating other plant and machinery.
The ideal candidate for our Machine Operative:-
- Previous experience as a machine operator or used cranes/ diggers would be desirable
- A history in engineering/electronics (preferred but not essential)
- Must be able to drive due to location
- Ability to work as part of a close team
- Able to use initiative
- Hard-working and eager to progress
- FLT License (preferred but not essential)
- Essential to the role is a relative level of fitness and basic mechanical skills.
