Junior CAD Engineer • Alcester • Full training given • Salary upto £35k per annum (DEO) • Permanent
Our client near Alcester, a well established company who are leaders in their field, and have an exceptional reputation amongst their client base are now looking for their next new recruit, and are prepared to fully train someone to become a full design engineer.
This role is a hands on role, where you will be fully involved in the whole project lifecycle, receiving ongoing training and support to progress your career.
In this varied role, you will oversee projects from cradle to grave, creating drawings and modifying existing designs. You will also be involved in product development, researching materials, suppliers, and systems.
This role would suit someone with prior CAD skills, engineering graduates, or candidates from a welding/metalwork background, looking to progress & develop their career with an industry leader.
This Junior CAD Engineer role has the following duties:
- You will be designing new products and developing existing products
- You will be working closely with your mentor within the design team
- You will also be trained on the software Creo
The Successful Junior CAD Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
- Prior CAD skills would be a huge advantage
- Degree in mechanical or design engineering
- welding/metalwork background an advantage
- Must be looking to learn and progress
- You must be willing to learn
