Day-to-day duties and responsibilities for the Installation Engineer role
- You will be responsible for the installation and validation of a wide range of adhesive application systems. This will be in the UK and Overseas (mainly USA), typically 1 installation per month, but flexibility is required.
- You will be liaising with the machine manufacturer to ensure the best outcome for the customers’ requirements.
- You will provide ongoing customer support post-installation, including any additional training required, machine upgrades, spare parts or technical support.
- Relay any potential future functional or financial improvements which could be made to the equipment, design, and build
- Assembling of machinery in house
- In house Facilities Management
- Organising logistics and shipping for the delivery of machines prior to installation
- Maintenance and repair of production equipment.
What you'll need to succeed in our Installation Engineer role
- A multi trades background
- A passion for customer service and excellent work ethic
- The ability to travel around the UK and Overseas to install large machinery. This could mean 1-2 week's overseas at a time.
- You must have the flexibility to get involved with other aspects of the business
- Some experience of getting involved with shipping and logistics would be a plus, however, training will be given
- Some experience of assembling of machines would be a plus, however, training will be given
- You will be ambitious and hungry, there is excellent prospects in this role.
