Job Title: Graphic Designer

Do you want to see your designs on shelves, in club shops and at major attractions across the UK? Our client is a growing, well-established consumer products business. It designs merchandise for some of the major UK and global brands.
They're looking for a creative, commercially minded Graphic Designer to join their design and product development team. You'll take ideas from first concept to production-ready artwork and see them become real products sold to consumers.
Responsibilities for the Graphic Designer Role
- Creating original product designs, concepts and new range ideas
- Developing artwork in response to customer briefs
- Working accurately within brand and licensing guidelines
- Preparing artwork for product development and production
- Managing multiple projects at once, often to tight deadlines
- Working closely with designers, product development and production teams
What You Need for the Graphic Designer Role
- Previous professional graphic design experience
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A commercial approach, knowing that good design also has to work as a finished product
- Confidence working both on your own and as part of a team
- An openness to new technology, including AI tools, to enhance your design work
- A portfolio of your work (essential)
An interest in sport, or experience in licensed merchandise, product design or consumer products, would be a real advantage.
Working pattern
You'll be in the office five days a week for your first four weeks so you can learn the products, customers and processes. After that, you'll work four days in the office and one day flexibly. Start and finish times are flexible, for example 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:00am–4:30pm, and other hours can be discussed.
