Finance Assistant
Redditch • Full time • Permanent • £24-25,000 depending on experience
Working for a specialist branding company based in Redditch, due to internal promotion we are now looking for a Finance Assistant
Day-to-day duties and responsibilities for the Finance Assistant role.
- Post and allocate cash daily on
- Cash book reconciliations
- Raise Sales Invoices/Credit notes on Clarity
- Raise commercial invoices
- Sales ledger reconciliation
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Logging Purchase Ledger Invoices, distribute for sign off
- Enter purchase ledger invoices, Check Purchase ledger log at month end and chase if necessary.
- Overhead analysis, analyse out nominal codes onto excel from Sage 200
- Fuel Card Analysis
- Month End Duties – Cashbook and sales ledger reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Enter Remedial data onto spreadsheet
What you'll need to succeed in our Finance Assistant role
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent Excel skills
- Previous experience work with Sage 200 desirable
- Problem solving skills
- Planning and organisational skills
What you'll get in return for our Finance Assistant role
- Permanent, full time hours
- Salary £24,000-25,000 DOE
- 22 days per annum plus bank holidays
