An excellent opportunity for a Scheduler has arisen to work within a forward-thinking company based in their Redditch office providing a seamless maintenance service within the foodservice industry. They are looking for an experienced Scheduler to join their busy and fast-paced team on a permanent basis, this is a fantastic role that offers an excellent working environment and progression opportunities for the right people.
Day to Day duties as a Scheduler will include the following:
- Review client works requests that come into your specific region and allocate works to internal engineers by using the bespoke in-house system
- Schedule engineer visits for breakdowns and planned maintenance visits
- Ability to “think outside the box” and to be proactive when scheduling and rescheduling engineers, when necessary, a good knowledge of geography is an advantage.
- Ensuring engineer’s routes are both cost and time-effective to both them and the company.
- Working closely and liaising with the Service Desk Team.
- Develop a good relationship and understanding with your engineers.
As a Scheduler, you will need the following qualities & experience:
- Be able to react quickly and multi-task
- Technical/Maintenance knowledge would be an advantage
- A disciplined individual with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to use multiple screens
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
- Strong team player
- Knowledge of locations/postcodes around the UK
What’s on offer for the successful Scheduler?
- Salary £21,000
- Hours Mon-Friday 08.30-17.00 with a 30-minute break
