Electrical Engineer - Alcester - Salary £35,000 per annum - Full-time - Permanent
Our Client is a British manufacturer of commercial wash facilities with a highly professional support network of factory trained engineers. They are currently going through a restructure and reorganisation and this has created exciting new opportunities for people to join the business and play a full part in its future development.
This role is office based, however, it may, at times, involve nationwide travel. If so, such expenses will be paid
The day-to-day duties of the successful Electrical Engineer role would include;
- Working with the manufacturing and installation teams on a variety of production/installation processes and projects
- Support the test and Inspection of the Product range electrically, recording results and archiving in the companies’ system.
- Manufacture & assembly of all components within the product ranges and associated ancillary equipment
- Work with all departments on site surveys to support the delivery of new equipment.
- Working with internal CAD engineers to create layout plans for installations and components.
- Assist in the review and adjustment of appropriate Bill of Material to reflect the up-to-date requirements where applicable
- Carry out factory maintenance and installations as and when required.
- Provide cover for holidays and sickness where required.
- Attend customer sites to support the servicing of the brand machines as and when required.
To be considered for the Electrical Engineer role you will need to have:
- Conversant with BS 7671- 18th Edition - IET Wiring Regulations Test & Inspection 2391 or 2394 and 2395 Preferable but not essential
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of PLC programming would be advantageous.
- Must be able to work alone.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and online platforms
- Professional work ethic ensuring housekeeping procedures are always adhered to.
- Willing to attend sites for meeting, breakdowns, and Installations, working with the site Engineers.
What’s on Offer for this Electrical Engineering role?
- Upto £35,000 per annum
- 37 ½ hr week, 8.30am – 5.00pm including 30 mins for lunch Monday – Thursday / 8.30am – 2.30pm including 30 mins for lunch Friday.
- Training as and when required.
- 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays)
- Pension. 3% Employer & 5% Employee.
- Free parking at the factory in Alcester.
- Overtime (including out of hours/call outs)
