Stock Controller • Silverston • Salary up to £22,000 • Permanent
We are working for an automotive software company who is looking for someone who can help within their stores. Dealing with dispatch and stock control.
As a Stock Controller, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Providing first-line support for goods dispatch
- Maintain appropriate stock of packing and shipping materials
- Arrange timely collections of items for shipping with Courier Companies
- Respond to the needs of the business Sales Team and Customers for timely shipping of orders.
- Ensure appropriate tax, duties, and insurance as applicable to the goods in/out are maintained
- Ensure suitable packing of goods to avoid damage
- Liaise with Courier and shipping Company to deal with any matters arising from lost or damaged goods in/out
- Promote the sales of goods or services
- Working within the team to generate sales opportunities – as necessitated by the business
- Maintaining the Companies Customer Database and Support Systems
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for our Stock Controller role:
- Physically fit and capable of carrying/moving boxes
- PC literate
- Knowledge of vehicle tuning and ECU tuning techniques and equipment beneficial.
- Can demonstrate good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
- Positive attitude and a self-starter
- A confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with customer related issues
- A high degree of self-motivation and drive
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment.
