Digital Marketer

Redditch • Permanent • Full Time 37.5 hours per week • Salary £25-28,000 per annum DOE

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketer to join my clients growing team!

Digital Marketer day to day duties are as follows:

As the digital marketer, you will be responsible for growing my client’s online presence. Focusing on SEO, SEM & Website optimisation, you will play an important role in generating hot qualified leads.

  • Create & execute effective SEO & SEM strategies to exponentially increase website traffic & convert leads
  • Continuous optimisation of digital marketing activities
  • Optimise prospective customer online experience

Website optimisation

  • Perform regular audits to identify and fix technical issues
  • Continually monitor and evaluate our online customer journeys 
  • Run and analyse website crawls and take action to improve website performance
  • inspect website traffic trends to identify areas for growth

SEO

  • Undertake in-depth keyword research
  • Build and execute effective website optimisation strategies to boost ranking on google
  • Update & optimise digital channels in line with google algorithm changes
  • Develop & execute effective link building strategies to increase page & domain authority 
  • Perform regular SEO audits to identify and rectify issues
  • Monitor and manage SEO performance daily
  • Carry out technical SEO audits & troubleshoot problem pages
  • Work with the wider marketing team to ensure new website features are SEO friendly

PPC

  • Identify target keywords & audiences for paid ads
  • Set up and managing ad campaigns across Facebook, Google & LinkedIn ensuring they hit the right audience with the right message
  • Analyse competitor PPC campaigns
  •  Continually audit & optimise paid activity to maximise conversion
  • Monitor and manage paid ads daily
  • Collaborate with the wider team to align ads with other marketing initiatives

 

Performance audits

  • Undertake regular KPI analysis & prepare detailed performance reports
  • Provide regular performance reports on all areas of digital marketing to the wider business

The Successful Digital Marketer must have the following skills/experience

  • Experience working highly competitive verticals and blending an array of SEO strategies including aggressive linking building campaigns
  • Previous full-time experience as an SEO specialist
  • Technical SEO experience 
  • Experience with Various SEO Software (i.e. Moz, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner, etc)
  • Have in-depth knowledge of SEO and algorithm ranking factors!
  • Needs to be a self-starter and have initiative!
  • Have an understanding of HTML, CSS
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot will be advantageous
  • Ideally, 3-5 years previous PPC, digital performance experience
