CAD Design Engineer • Evesham • Upto £40k per annum + training + benefits

This CAD Design Engineer role has the following duties:

 

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Generate 2D and 3D models using CAD software based on project specifications.
  • Contribute creative design solutions while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Create comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant technical documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design iterations and changes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in CAD design.

The Successful CAD Design Engineer will have the following skills/experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Design Engineer in a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
