This CAD Design Engineer role has the following duties:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Generate 2D and 3D models using CAD software based on project specifications.
- Contribute creative design solutions while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Create comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant technical documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design iterations and changes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in CAD design.
The Successful CAD Design Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Design Engineer in a relevant industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
