Customer Support Coordinator

Redditch • Permanent• Full Time • Salary Up to £22,300 per annum 

An exciting opportunity to work within a Customer support role for a leading catering equipment company within the food service industry. This department builds and presents quotes to the client.

The Customer Support Coordinator day to day duties are as follows:

  • Monitoring all new work requests from account managers and ensuring all new work requests are passed to the correct department.
  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers
  • Processing new quotes and sending out by e-mail
  • Updating the bespoke in-house system accordingly
  • Quoting one-off equipment
  • Liaising with suppliers for quotes
  • Liaising with sub-contractors for quotations for works requested
  • Sourcing alternative quotations as necessary
  • Dealing with customer queries and keeping them updated
  • Progress of authorised orders
  • Co-ordination of delivers and installations

The Successful Customer Support Coordinator must have the following skills/experience:

  • GCSE in Maths and English
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Working knowledge of Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience working in an office environment
  • Able to work on your own initiative but also part of a team
  • Numerate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
