Customer Service Administrator

Redditch • Permanent• Full Time • Salary Up to £24,000 per annum 

An exciting opportunity to work within the Progress equipment sales team. You will be working for a leading catering equipment company within the food service industry.

The Customer Service Administrator day to day duties are as follows:

  • Receiving e-mails and incoming calls from customers
  • Processing new orders via e-mail
  • Updating the bespoke in house system accordingly
  • Looking after one-off orders and small projects
  • Chasing customer orders through and obtaining deadlines
  • Chasing sub-contractors for work dates as requested
  • Dealing with customer queries and keeping them updated
  • Organising installation dates
  • Progressing Warranty calls
  • General administration
  • Opportunities to visit supplier sites and attend shows and events.

The Customer Service Administrator must have the following skills/experience:

  • Previous experience in administration/customer service
  • GCSE in Maths and English
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Working knowledge of Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work on your own initiative but also part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem solving skills
