E-Commerce Administrator

Alcester • Permanent • Full Time • Salary £17-19,000 per annum DOE

We are looking for a motivated individual to support and assist our Client’s busy e-commerce team.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the business, a high level of organisational skills are required, the successful candidate will need to efficiently prioritise their workload and with effective time management.

The job is fully IT-based and although it is not essential to have experience in the systems they operate; a good level of IT literacy is required along with Customer Service experience.

The position will suit an individual who wishes to grow with the business.

The E-Commerce Administrator day to day duties are as follows:

  • Process orders that come through the sales office, various e-commerce platforms and input them into our internal CMS within a timely manner
  • Follow the orders from initial entry, through to despatch and invoicing
  • Provide a high level of customer service to the sales office and web customers (via phone & email) by answering queries regarding orders, deliveries, POD’s, datasheets and pricing, etc
  • Understand and implement the Companies MOQ and MOV policies
  • Undertake the logistics administration for both UK and worldwide shipments via an online web portal
  • Update and maintain product descriptions and any relevant documents on e-commerce, CMS, or intranet
  • Accurately maintain large data sets in excel, inputting new information into e-commerce or CMS as necessary
  • Carry out any realistic requests from the line Manager or Directors.

Essential Experience

  • Customer Service background
  • Computer literacy (Outlook/Excel/Word/PDF)
  • Experience selling on eBay (either in a professional context or personal use)
  • Basic level of competency in Microsoft Excel
  • Confident talking over on the phone

Preferred Experience (non-essential)

  • Office, administration or business process experience
  • E-Commerce experience  (Magento 2 or WooCommerce a bonus)
  • ERP experience (Microsoft Navision or Business Central a bonus)
  • Photoshop
  • HTML
  • Advanced level of competency in Microsoft Excel
  • SEO/Google Ad Words experience
