Credit Controller

Alcester • Permanent • Part-Time Hours • Salary £13.40 per hour

Working for a manufacturing company with an excellent reputation in the agricultural sector.

The Credit controller day to day duties are as follows:

  • Chase customers who are overdue
  • Taking credit card payments and allocate. 
  • Resolve customer queries on invoices e.g. pricing, PODs, credits required, and invoices not received etc. 
  • Maintain all sales ledger accounts i.e. unallocated cash.  Send out customer statements monthly.  Review customer's credit limits on accounts.
  • Banking
  • Processing credit applications
  • Sending out invoices and credit notes
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Opening and distributing post

    The Successful Credit Controller must have the following skills/experience:
    Essential Experience
  • Previous experience of working in credit control.
  • General understanding of functioning in an accounts department
  • Experience in using debt recovery agencies
  • Computer literate
  • Organised and systematic approach to work
  • Confident Excel / Word user
  • Flexible approach to work, willing to help others.

Preferred Experience (non-essential)

  • Several years of experience in credit control
  • Ability to cover other roles in the team.
  • Ability to process small claims in County Court
