Are you confident, organised, and experienced in transport compliance? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy logistics operation where you’ll take ownership of compliance, maintenance control, and driver standards across multiple sites.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the go‑to person for all things compliance, ensuring the transport operation runs safely, legally, and efficiently.
Driver & Compliance Management
- Manage driver licence checks and CPC compliance
- Lead driver inductions (permanent & agency)
- Handle driver infringements and monitor KPIs
- Conduct site visits, liaising with drivers and reporting defects
Vehicle & Maintenance Control
- Oversee vehicle maintenance across all sites
- Track maintenance schedules and ensure documentation is accurate
- Maintain and update all compliance records
- Monitor maintenance spend and consumable usage
Operational Support
- Check and authorise invoices within agreed limits
- Support out‑of‑hours or weekend requirements during busy periods or emergencies
- Work closely with the wider transport team to resolve issues quickly and effectively
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Strong transport background with experience in a transport office
- CPC holder
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office, spreadsheets, transport databases)
- Highly organised, methodical, and calm under pressure
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A proactive, can‑do attitude
