CNC Setter/Operator – Evesham - £35-38k pa DOE – Full-time, permanent
Join our client, a dynamic small manufacturing business specialising in crafting high-value small parts for the sporting industry. As a Machine Setter/Operator, you'll take the reins of the entire production process, from raw materials to programming the machinery through to the manufacturing of the parts.
What are the day-to-day duties for this CNC Setter/Operator
- Take charge of manual milling machines and lathes, setting them up with the utmost precision.
- Attain the highest levels of precision in job setups, ensuring each piece meets exacting standards.
- Work with advanced CNC equipment, including five-axis milling machines, four-axis millturn lathes, wire eroding machines, and spark eroding machines.
- Work with cutting-edge software, including CAD and CAM manufacturer packages like SolidWorks and Solid CAM.
- Work hand in hand with our close-knit team to meet production targets.
- Able to dive into the nitty-gritty of manual machinery alignment, sometimes dealing with oil and other industrial challenges.
What skills and experience do I need for this CNC Setter/Operator
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, operating machinery, and delivering top-notch results.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery, milling machines, and lathes.
- A willingness to learn and adapt; you'll receive training on our machinery but must have the passion to grow.
- A readiness to dive in, even when tasks get a little dirty; you should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on.
- The ability to thrive in a small business environment, where every team member's contribution matters.
