Junior Estimator
Alcester Permanent Full Time Salary basic £30-35 K Plus Company Van
Our client is a successful construction, building maintenance, and refurbishment business. They have circa 50 locally based and directly employed employees working closely with architects, surveyors, school management, and facilities managers, focusing mainly on commercial building management and local authority projects, educational establishments, NHS and National Trust works.
The Estimator day to day duties are as follows:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team and you will be working with a diverse regional portfolio of private and public sector clients and delivering a broad range of refurbishment, new build, and restoration projects ranging in value from £5k to £500K. This is a fast-paced role and you will be working on numerous tenders at any one time. Full training will be given.
The Successful Junior Estimator must have the following skills/experience:
- A willingness to work in an Estimating role and to learn.
- It would be advantageous to have experience within the public sector, knowledge of the schedule of rates, and the ability to add value to each tender submission.
- Professional qualifications would be desirable.
- Full driving license required
