Location Towcester Salary of £25-28,000 Full time Permanent

An exciting opportunity to join a start-up business where you will be managing the financial records of the business and provide administrative support to the business in relation to sales, purchases, expenses, reporting and financial account management

The day to day duties of a Bookkeeper role would include;

• All aspects of Bookkeeping 
• Finalising paperwork for despatch independent external Accounting Firm, HMRC and often working to tight deadlines
• Completing VAT returns
• Processing payroll​​
• Purchase ledger (UK and Foreign).
 Produce monthly payment run reports
• Petty cash, debit card, and PayPal payments
• Sales Ledger
• Stock Control
• Payroll

  • Monthly Payroll Calculations, Commissions and Year End Payroll and P11ds
  • Monthly payment run to include salaries, expenses, PAYE and associated tasks
  • Payroll and associated HR Processes – loans, vouchers, annual leave

• Vendor Payments
• Monthly & Quarterly Management Reports

To be considered for our Bookkeeper role you will need to have;

  • AAT Accounting Level 2 and 3 or above or in advanced stages of completing suitable professional qualifications
  • Quick and Accurate worker
  • ZOHO Books experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong MS office skills excel, PowerPoint and word essential
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Positive attitude.
  • A confident and determined approach.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An ability to work quickly and accurately
