Urgent: Temporary Office Administrator
Location: Evesham Area Salary: £13-15 per hour depending on experience Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri) 9am-5pm Duration: Temporary (Immediate Start)
Arden Personnel is recruiting for a highly organised and resilient Office Administrator to join a well-established, local service provider on a temporary basis. This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can hit the ground running and work independently to support a busy team.
The Role
You will be the central point of contact for the office, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. Key duties include:
- Professional Correspondence: Managing emails and drafting quotations with exceptional grammatical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Call Handling: Acting as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers with a confident and professional telephone manner.
- Data & Scheduling: Using internal systems to update job schedules, customer records, and filing systems.
- Compliance Admin: Assisting with essential documentation, including Health & Safety records and coordinating DBS checks.
About You
The successful candidate will be down-to-earth, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy, "no-nonsense" environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office-based administration role.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) with the ability to work without constant supervision.
- Communication: You must possess high-level literacy skills to produce professional correspondence without the need for spell-checking.
- Resilience: You should be a "thick-skinned" individual who enjoys a straightforward, authentic team culture and can handle a high volume of work during peak periods.
