Administrator • Permanent • Alcester • Full time - £11-13 per hour DOE 

To provide administrative support and development for the work and as appropriate advice and guidance to the charity members including the organisations’ Specialist Adviser Team members, as directed by the Senior Manager Member Services & Events.

The Administrator's day to day duties are as follows:

  • Co-ordination of events, completing administration duties for this. 
  • Make arrangements for meetings, preparing agendas and action reports, organising travel and accommodation
  • To organise seminars/events as required at the direction of the line manager
  • Dealing with daily email enquiries, actioning and forwarding to relevant personnel.
  • Updating company information onto the inhouse CRM
  • Review and update manuals and guidance documents
  • Answering of telephone, meeting and greeting.
  • To attend and participate at internal and external events where required, occasional travel will be necessary
  • Occasional weekend work and ability to be flexible is required.

The Successful Administrator must have the following skills/experience:

  • GCSE Maths and English 
  • Procifient with MS Office especially excel
  • Excellent attention to detail & ability to work unsupervised with initiative
  • Good organisation skills – able to plan and prioritise own workload.
  • Comfortable with dealing with clients both by telephone and email in a friendly, professional manner
  • Collaborative, team player who can adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What’s on offer for the successful Administrator?

  • 37 hours, Monday to Friday, office-based (in Alcester) 
  • Flexible with regards to start and finish times.
  • Official hours are 8:45 – 17:00 – Thursday; Friday 8:45 – 16:30, however, most staff start earlier and finish later Monday to Thursday and then only work half a day on Fridays.
  • Hybrid working may also be considered, after the successful completion of probation period.
  • On the odd occasion the candidate would be asked to stay over at events, possibly 1/2 times per annum
