Accounts Assistant
Evesham• Permanent• Full Time • Salary Up to £23,000 per annum

The Accounts Assistant day to day duties are as follows:
- Responsibility for cash book and bank reconciliations.
- Daily cash book reporting
- Payment allocation for retail accounts and processing of daily banking sheets from our retail branches
- Monthly closure of accounts receivable and cashbook
- Processing all sales invoices from the retail dealer management system to the Company’s accounting system
- Responsibility for fixed asset registers for both divisions.
- Intergroup reconciliations
- Assisting the Accounts Payable team and monthly VAT checks on purchases
- Review of aged debt with Group
- Assisting the Company’s auditors with information requests
- Supporting the Finance Team with month end
- Other ad hoc reporting duties
The Accounts Assistant must have the following skills/experience:
- AAT Level 2 and above
- Methodical and focused approach to processes and procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team and organise their workflows to meet deadlines
- Excel and data analysis/manipulationKey

- The ability to work as part of a team in order to meet the finance teams objectives and deliver to a high standard
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables in order to meet tight deadlines
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work individually but also as part of a team
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a sharp eye for detail
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in using financial software, databases and excel
- A great communicator who can liaise effectively with internal teams and external clients
What’s on offer for the successful Accounts Assistant?
- Full time permanent role
- Salary £23,000
- Hours Mon-Thursday 08.30-17.00 and 09.00-15.00 on a Friday with a 30-minute break
- 25 days holiday with the addition to buy an additional 5 days.
