This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual ready to take their account management career to the next level, with scope to develop into new business sales over time.
About the Account Manager Role:
You’ll be the key point of contact for a portfolio of valued clients, ensuring service excellence and fostering growth through enhanced offerings. You’ll be expected to:
- Overachieve revenue and profit targets across key accounts
- Identify and win new business opportunities
- Develop detailed annual account plans
- Manage SLAs and ensure KPIs are met consistently
- Build lasting, trusted relationships with customers at all levels
- Champion your clients’ needs internally to ensure smooth service delivery
- Provide accurate forecasting and commercial insight
- Represent the full scope of our client’s logistics and supply chain solutions
What We’re Looking For in this Account Manager role
You’ll be Midlands-based and come equipped with:
- A proven background in logistics account management or business development
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- A proactive and customer-first mindset
- Experience with B2B service delivery and cross-functional collaboration
- The ability to manage commercial processes, including contracts, KPIs, and budgets
- A full clean UK driving licence
You’ll also be someone who thrives on solving problems, identifying opportunities, and isn’t afraid to take the initiative when it comes to delivering results.
